Many people finish cancer treatment and find a second, quieter struggle waiting: they can't think the way they used to. Words go missing, focus slips, and the mental fog can feel like a permanent loss of self. It's often brushed aside as something to simply live with. It isn't. We work together on the thinking and memory changes that can follow treatment, on practical ways to rebuild focus, and on the connection between your brain, your body, and your recovery, so you can begin to find your clarity again.

When you've lived through something overwhelming, your brain and nervous system learn to stay on guard. That response once kept you safe, and now it may be keeping you from the life you want. My work helps you understand what's happening inside you, without shame, and gives you grounded, repeatable practices to move out of survival mode and back toward steadiness, presence, and hope.

A diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or early decline can feel like a door quietly closing. It doesn'thave to be. There's a great deal you can do in the early stages to protect your mind, slow the changes, and hold onto the way you think and live. I work directly with you on the habits, strategies, and brain and body practices that help you stay yourself for as long as possible.

Caring for someone you love can quietly take everything you have. Maybe it's a parent with dementia, a child facing cancer, a spouse who's ill, or someone you love struggling with addiction. Whatever your caregiving role, the weight of it is real, and it usually goes unseen. I work with caregivers to protect their own clarity, health, and steadiness, and to hold onto meaning through a demanding and often long season.
Reclaiming the Mind After Illness, Trauma, and Loss
All sessions are held privately over Microsoft Teams, so you can take part from anywhere. This is educational and consulting work rather than licensed therapy or medical care, and everything we do is designed to give you understanding and tools you can carry with you.
